Office Manager

This is a full time professional position that serves as the office assistant, manages communications for the organization, and assists the needs of CCYS Administration and Executives. This position will oversee front office of the agency, assist with record keeping, schedule meetings, appointments and special projects.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and three or more years related administrative experience and/or training. Administrative or other related experience may be substituted for degree. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledgeable with use of computer and all Microsoft Office software programs.

Youth & Family Counselor – Community Counseling (Family Place) *Leon County & Wakulla County

The Youth and Family Counselor provides short-term trauma-informed therapeutic services for runaway, truant, and ungovernable youth and their families. These services include initial screening, crisis intervention, case planning, case management, internal and external referrals, progress evaluation, and individual, family and group counseling. This position includes working Monday-Friday from 11 AM – 7 PM. However, hours may be based upon client schedules. This position will be a mix of office-based and school-based counseling services including on call crisis management to the CCYS Someplace Else Emergency Crisis Shelter.

Education/Experience

Master’s Degree in a Social Service related field preferred. At least two years of experience working with families and adolescents.

At-Risk Youth Case Manager (Going Places)

The purpose of this position is to provide targeted case management services to youth, ages 11-24, who are runaway, homeless, or at-risk street youth (RHSY). The four core areas of targeted case management are assessment/reassessment, development of service plans, referring activities, and monitoring of services. The At-Risk Youth Case Manager (ARYCM) works with and through agency staff for the particular purpose of serving, protecting, and strengthening youth, families, and communities. This involves rapport building while assisting RHSY, in The Big Bend of North Florida. The ARYCM is a full-time, salaried-exempt position serving clients of Going Places Street Outreach Program and TLP Program.

Education/Experience B.A./B.S. Degree in social work, human services, or related field. At least two years of experience working with families and adolescents (additional, related education may be approved as a substitute for experience).

Youth Care Specialist Residential (Someplace Else Shelter & Tree House) *Part Time The Youth Care Specialist is responsible for the direct supervision of the residents in the Someplace Else shelter and Tree House group home and effectively providing services to youth admitted to the shelter/group home by demonstrating a comprehensive working knowledge of CCYS policies/procedures and all agency provided programs, assisting with the screening process, ensuring resident and shelter safety at all times, aiding youth in the following of the posted daily schedule and ensuring clear, concise and professional documentation be kept. Shift work is required for all employees. Availability only weekends (evenings and overnights)

SNAP Case Manager

The SNAP Case Manager is responsible for initial assessments/consultation phase with the child and family members. Case Manager plays an active role in management of the cases and clinical files. The SNAP Case Manager is responsible for administering the SNAP curriculum to either the parent or child during the 13 week SNAP Programs. During the group cycle, Case Managers will be responsible for arriving to group one hour ahead of start time to pre brief and set up with co-facilitators. The Specialist will be responsible for take down and packing materials. During the week, they will engage in SNAP meetings as necessary, and weekly de-briefing sessions with SNAP team. Case Manager is also responsible for SNAP In Schools weekly sessions, data entry and community outreach. This position generally includes working at least 40 hours per work week with availability in some evenings to accommodate family work schedules and youth school attendance.

Education/Experience A high school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of human service experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in social work, behavioral science, psychology, counseling, education or minimum of two years related work experience.

SNAP Facilitator (Stop Now And Plan) *Part Time

SNAP Facilitators are responsible for groups during SNAP Programs. The SNAP Facilitator is responsible for administering the SNAP curriculum to either the parent or child during the 13 week SNAP Clinical group cycle or to classrooms in the schools. During the group cycle, the facilitator is responsible for arriving to group one hour ahead of start time to pre brief and set up with co-facilitators. This position generally includes working less than 40 hours per work week with availability in some evenings to accommodate family work schedules and youth school attendance. Also during the day for SNAP in Schools during school hours.

Youth and Family Counselor – Residential SPE

The Youth and Family Counselor provides short-term trauma informed therapeutic services for runaway, truant, and ungovernable youth and their families. These services include initial screening, crisis intervention, case planning, internal and external referrals, progress evaluations and individual, family and group counseling.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in social services required. Master’s Degree in Social Service related field preferred. At least 2 years of experience working with families and adolescents (additional, related education may be approved as a substitute for experience). Excellent interpersonal skills and clinical decision making ability in order to categorize levels of need is a necessity.

Street Outreach Advocates

The Street Outreach Advocate (SOA) provides homeless prevention, outreach services and case management to youth 11-24 years old who are experiencing a wide array of challenges. These services may include initial screenings, crisis intervention, case planning, internal and external referrals, progress evaluation, rapid rehousing, mobile street outreach, housing assistance, drop in center services and peer to peer counseling. SOA’s are the boots on the ground and front line workers for youth in the community. The SOA role is to work with and through agency staff for the particular purpose of serving, protecting, and strengthening youth, families, and communities. This is professional work which involves locating, rapport building, and assisting run-away and homeless youth and adults in the Big Bend area.
