Jane Hernandez

I was born in Argentina and raised in Orlando, Florida. I earned a Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. I’m currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and I will be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in July of 2020. As a therapist, I value individuality and I enjoy working with youth and families from all different walks of life. My primary goal is to meet clients where they are and empower them to live authentically. Therefore, I personalize my therapeutic practice utilizing strengths-based, mindfulness, creative and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapies. Furthermore, I facilitate individual, family and group therapy in challenges life may bring like substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, psycho-education, anger management, and social skills. My goal is to continue serving the non-profit community, specifically youth in the schools. In addition to my therapeutic craft, I am passionate about all things pugs, crime docs and DIY projects.
